UnitedWellness is a comparison and navigation platform. Our job is to help you make a confident, informed decision about wellness programs โ without having to wade through dozens of tabs, marketing pages, and reviews that don't disclose their financial relationships.
This page explains how we evaluate programs, what criteria drive our rankings, how affiliate relationships work, and what we commit to in terms of editorial independence.
We evaluate telehealth programs and wellness services across five categories: GLP-1 and weight management, hormone health, mental health, longevity and labs, and sleep. Within each category, we review individual providers and produce comparison pages that let you see the tradeoffs side by side.
Our reviews are based on publicly available information โ published pricing, program descriptions, stated clinical protocols, provider credentials, and published terms of service. We also monitor user experience reports and expert commentary where reliable sources are available. We do not conduct clinical trials, and we do not independently verify each program's internal practices.
When publicly available information is limited or ambiguous, we say so. We don't fill gaps with assumptions.
The specific criteria we apply vary by category. For GLP-1 programs, we weight cost transparency, coaching quality, insurance compatibility, and medication type. For hormone health programs, we weight clinical rigor โ specifically whether labs are required before prescribing and how monitoring is handled. For mental health programs, we weight therapist matching quality, insurance acceptance, and whether medication management is available for people who need it.
Across all categories, we apply a consistent set of baseline questions:
Is the pricing clear and complete, or does the advertised number obscure the real monthly cost? Is clinical oversight appropriate โ who is reviewing your case and prescribing? What happens when something needs to adjust, and how accessible is the provider? Is there an exit process that doesn't punish you for leaving?
Programs that answer those questions well tend to rank better. Programs that rely on low-information marketing language and difficult-to-find pricing tend to rank lower, regardless of affiliate status.
UnitedWellness earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you sign up for a program through one of our links, we may receive a commission from the provider. This is disclosed at the top of every comparison page and in our affiliate disclosure policy.
What that relationship does not mean: we do not accept payment from providers in exchange for rankings, placement, or favorable editorial coverage. Affiliate commission rates are not a factor in our editorial scoring. A program with a high commission rate does not rank higher than a program with a low commission rate โ or no affiliate relationship at all โ if the lower-paying program is the better fit for the reader.
We have affiliate relationships with some programs we rank lower than non-affiliate alternatives. We have no affiliate relationship with some programs we rank highly. The rankings reflect our assessment of the programs, not our financial interests.
If you ever see a recommendation that seems inconsistent with this policy, we want to know. Use our contact page.
The telehealth and wellness program market moves quickly. Pricing changes. Programs launch, pivot, and sometimes shut down. Clinical protocols evolve. We review our major comparison pages at least quarterly and update them when significant changes occur in program structure, pricing, or quality.
Each page includes a "Last reviewed" date near the top so you know when we last verified the information. Pricing shown is always described as approximate and with a date reference. Always verify current pricing and availability directly with the provider before enrolling.
We don't provide medical advice, and nothing on this site should be interpreted as a recommendation from a healthcare provider. We compare programs so you can make an informed decision โ the decision itself, and any enrollment, happens between you and the provider.
We don't pretend affiliate relationships don't exist. We don't accept payment for rankings. We don't invent certifications or accreditations we don't have. We don't quote patient outcome statistics we can't substantiate.
And we don't write reviews designed to look independent while serving a financial agenda. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's the right way to read any comparison site.
